Important news about Binghamton market area real estate!

Binghamton price appreciation hits number 1 in the US!

According to the latest quarterly survey released May 13 by the National Association of REALTORS®, one out of three metropolitan statistical areas showed higher median existing single-family home prices compared to the same period last year.
In the first quarter of 2008, the largest single-family home price increase in the nation was in the Binghamton, New York area, where the median price read more here

HUD Home Notice:

The latest listing (June 27) of HUD Homes for Broome and Tioga counties indicates no new properties for sale to the general public.

From the June 13 listing, there is one property in Tioga County located in Smithboro (Barton) at 25 Hillside Drive. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath brick Ranch style house on a 1+ acre lot (with an additional lot) and is listed for $94.000.

There are two properties from the June 6 listing: a single family house located at 17 Bradley Street in Binghamton that is listed for $35,000.
Another property is a two unit residence at 17 Gregory Avenue in Port Dickinson. It is listed for $60,000.

From the May 30 listing, there is property located at 751 River Road in Binghamton (Chenango Bridge). You can get information on that listing by clicking here. It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with a list price of $95,000.
